programmes

At CfBT’s Training and Learning centre we have a range of learning and development programmes running each month. All participants receive a report on their progress and suggested next steps.

This is high quality, low-cost, in-person training, delivered by highly experienced and qualified trainers. Each programme offers a good opportunity to network and establish friendships and of course, advance your CV. Other programmes include time management, sales leadership, negotiation skills and a train-the-trainer in facilitation skills.

Finally, it goes without saying that CfBT always offers language support. Our Communications Skills programme is available throughout the year.

Leadership

1. What does it mean, to be a manager? We explore your ideas and start to unpick the qualities that go in to making a successful manager.
2. What qualities are expected of a successful manager? We explore these and compare against benchmarked successful managers.
3. Moving from a manager to a leader.
4. Exploring 6 Leadership styles (Goleman)
5. The impact of your style(s) on those you manage.

Presentations

1. The opening, power of story, rhetorical devices

Managing Conflict
